Experience New Year’s Eve in New Orleans!

New Year’s Eve is one of the best times of year to be in New Orleans! Whether you’re watching the fleur-de-lis drop from home or out in quarter on a balcony: your New Year will be unforgettable if you celebrate in New Orleans! Here at HostsNola, we would like to welcome you to New Orleans! Here are the best free and low-cost  New Year’s Eve events of 2018.

Fireworks on the River

The free fireworks show is actually visible from both river fronts. The best part of watching it across the river is sneaking in a ferry ride over the Algiers Point.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

Of course, if you’re more of an introvert, you could watch Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on TV. If you want to be right in the middle of it all, head to Jackson Square to participate in the festivities. Hosted by actress Lucy Hale, this event features live music, celebrity appearances, and a fireworks display.

New Year’s Eve at Crescent Park

Starting in 2014, Crescent Park offers the best view of the West and East bank’s dueling displays!

Audubon Zoo Year’s Eve

The zoo, located in uptown New Orleans, offers family-friendly activities, music, and games. The event is free for Audubon members and included with regular admission for non-members.

Locations

Several venues in the city throw huge parties that have food, beverages and even live music. The biggest and most well-known party is at the Hyatt Regency hotel on Loyola Avenue in the CBD. If that is too big for you, try the Westin Hotel that is located between Canal Street and The French Quarter. If you’re a big history bluff, the National WWII Museum is a great place to ring in the New year in style.

HostsNola knows that there is always a reason to celebrate here in this glorious city. If you need somewhere luxurious and memorable to stay, HostsNola is the place for you.
